Castle Drawings
First grade students learned about the Middle Ages before designing their very own castle. Using markers on construction paper, each student drew a basic castle shape and then added textures and details to make it unique. We looked at lots of different real-life castles before they began drawing so that they had inspiration for turrets, roof shapes, and windows.
