Collagraph Portrait Prints
Fourth grade students learned about portraiture and facial proportion before creating a series of self-portrait prints using the collagraph technique. Students carefully cut out all of their facial features using poster board and assembled these pieces using correct facial proportions. They used ink to pull multiple prints of their portrait in various colors, creating an impressive demonstration of their understanding of both printmaking and facial proportion.
