Symmetry Prints
Fourth grade students demonstrated their understanding of symmetry while creating these butterfly prints. Each student designed an elaborate butterfly with symmetrical wings and then transferred their design to a piece of printing form by carefully carving the foam with a pen. Students then printed their symmetrical butterfly using a variety of colors, signing and numbering each print in their series.
