Verbal Portraits
10th grade students were asked to choose someone influential in their life and recreate them using only words. Each student chose a portrait, traced it onto drawing paper, and then got to work adding words to show the different values in the portrait. Eventually all pencil lines were erased and the results were astonishingly beautiful portraits made entirely out of words.
