Winter Reflections
Third grade students learned about positive and negative space while creating these winter reflection scenes. After brainstorming together as a class, each student chose several winter-themed ideas to sketch on dark blue construction paper. Students carefully cut around these drawings, making sure to keep all of the pieces. They assembled both their positive and negative space pieces on light blue construction paper to demonstrate their understanding of this newly learned concept.
